What a wonderful weekend I had

This past weekend I did two of my favorite things. One thing is living history. I just can't tell you how much I enjoy doing it. I have been involved in this hobby for about thirteen years. I decided this weekend I would spin for the public. People are facinated in the spinning wheel and how it works.

The other thing I did was.......I was invited by a friend to go to a historical society meeting to listen to a talk about antique coverlets. The best thing was there were coverlets to look at! I love looking at things like this! Want to see?

Aren't they beautiful?

  2. That is quite a collection! What an opportunity to see all those different patterns up close, I love the ones using 2 colors as an accent for the design. I need to explore that with my overshot!
