It is over!

Well, the surgery is done and I am now situated in a physical therapy rehab center. Having a knee replaced is not an easy thing to go through and I never thought I would have three done in a year and a half! Recovery is slow!. Very slow but I will get there. Eventually. Today has been a rough day but hopefully things will improve from here. Right now my knee is under it's umteenth icepack. The view out my window is lovely and I have beening watch lots of movies on cable TV. Christmas music is playing in the halls!

Please keep me in your prayers, I need them all!

Linda

  2. I missed my opportunity to see you in the hospital, let me see if I can get over to the rehab center before you leave it!

  3. Hi Linda,
I remember the ice packs well as I sat on them (sort of) when I had my hip replaced 10 years ago.
(Knees are in my future too)

The first few days are the toughest but it will get better day by day! You'll be back walking and weaving in no time!

  5. Thank you everyone! I have been trying to knit a hat. In the past I could get one done in an evening. I have been working on it for days and it still isn't finished! I will get there, I know. A friend told me once that I would be miserable for the first three weeks. It is true!
I really need to get well fast. I have a sheep coming when I am ready for her! I am thinking I will name her Holly. Appropriate for this time of year, don't you think?
