A while ago my husband was helping to clear some things out of my father in law's basement when he came across a skein winder! I wonder why he had it and what he had planned on using it for?

This fits in a very small box. It has three arms that screw into a round piece. Then all that fits on the clamp. If you look closely you can see the price. Twenty-five cents!

This will be handy when I am spinning. It is a very nice size to travel with and will fit nicely into the Majacraft Little Gem travel bag.

A few years ago I had a banner made for my booth at craft shows. Back then I called myself The Barefoot Weaver. You can not imagine how many people would look at my feet and proclaim that I wasn't barefoot! I was getting very tired of hearing that so I had my banner reworked. I picked it up today. What do you think?   I think I would have done it differently but       this is what they came up with.   They were able to peel off the old lettering and add the new                                                        ones .

  1. Yup, those sure are cute! I have one around here somewhere too. But I really really REALLY like the accordion style one you gave me all those years ago! Why did you ever give it to me and not keep it yourself???

  2. Karen,
I like bigger skeins than that one made and I knew you would love it.
